Embark on an exhilarating journey to the Antarctic continent with my new ZX Spectrum adventure. Explore breathtaking landscapes, confront challenging conditions, and delve into a captivating storyline in this retro-inspired game.

Antarctica is a sophisticated interactive fiction crafted using Jari Komppa's MuCho engine. The game boasts multiple endings, yet only one allows you to continue the adventure. On your initial playthrough, you might not achieve your desired conclusion. Experimenting with various endings is an integral part of the experience, offering a more comprehensive understanding of the narrative depth.

The commitment and time invested in designing and crafting each chapter of Antarctica are substantial. Any donation you can make is genuinely appreciated, as it contributes to the ongoing creation of new games for the retro community. However, if a donation isn't feasible for you, don't worry. Simply head to the downloads section and enjoy the experience.

Stay tuned, as the story will unfold gradually with the release of new chapters. Each installment is provided in TAP file format, a cassette image compatible with any ZX Spectrum emulator. I'm diligently working on it, and soon I'll share more updates about this thrilling new adventure. Keep an eye out!

CHAPTER THREE IS NOW AVAILABLE!

¡También disponible en castellano!

This video game is aimed at an adult audience.

Hello.

I am trying to run the game in Zesarux on Windows with text to speech settings.

After I run Zesarux everything is being read until I try to load the game.

The program does not read the game text for some reason.

Could anyone tell me how to fix this?

Oh, man! I have started Anctartica playing on my phone and I have to say that this is a good, good game with good prose and rythm. Thanks Dareint for this game. I suppose you already know that I am a constant follower of your games. I like all of them. Keep on creating such games and thank you again.

Thankyou so much for your enthusiastic feedback! I'm thrilled to hear that you've started playing "Antarctica" and that you're enjoying it on your phone. Your kind words about the game's prose and rhythm mean a lot to me. Knowing that you're a constant follower of my games and that you enjoy all of them is truly motivating.

Best regards, Dareint

Thanks for this. It's a good read and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it. I spotted a few little bugs:

'self- ritical' missing the c; 'well- efined' missing the d;

and you can burn the note, and still select burn the note afterwards.

There were a few little quirks in the text, nothing major, but if you want any help proof reading let me know :–)

Thank you very much for your response! I'm glad you enjoyed the work. I've corrected the bugs you pointed out, so any other recommendations are welcome - either here or on my Twitter account. Cheers!
